SHOWS!
The NAB Show took place April 10-15,
2010 in Las Vegas (exhibits opened April 12th). The NAB Show
is the world's largest electronic media show covering filmed
entertainment and the development, management and delivery of
content across all mediums.
With over 80,000 people in
attendance, a lot of them stopped by the Professional Sound
Services booth. Were they there for the yummy cookies or the
professional audio advice of Rich, Eric and Jon? Definitely on
Tuesday Morning they were there to meet and greet Dick and
Rich Topham. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us
there! It was great to see everyone and discuss all the new
products and technological advancements in pro-sound. It was
also great to see Dick and Rosemary Topham. So many past and
present friends stopped by the booth to say hi. It was
wonderful to catch up with old friends.
Pro-Sound NAB 2010 Raffle was a huge success! 1 winner per day
of a
$100.00 Pro-Sound Gift Certificate! All 4 winners will be
announced in the
May 2010 Pro-Sound Newsletter!
We had a wonderful time at AES this year. We
saw so many of our customers and met so many new professionals.

of Pro-Sound, our friend Rafael Sienkiewicz, who owns the sound company
Loud Hippo. Rafael has worked in the industry for a long time and has
done shows like America’s Next Top Model, The Whitest Kids U Know and
Cake Boss most recently. With Rafael is long time Pro-Sound employee
Eric Perez and Pro-Sound Rental Guru, Matt Zimmerman.

Amazing...NAB 2009 already past! Eric and I had a great time.
Expected attendance was 130,000. 90,000 actually attended. The
first two days we saw strong attendance, days three & four tapered
off. The North (Audio) Hall was a little slower then the Central
(Camera) Hall.
Eric and I visited with many old friends. It was great to see
everyone. We especially enjoyed dinner with Leo Pedraza. Leo is a
production film mixer with Columbia. I always enjoy getting
together with Leo at NAB each year. It is a great time to catch up
with old and new friends alike.
Eric
met with many international clients. We seemed to see a lot of
International interest. Clients from Italy, Brazil, Columbia,
Mexico...the whole globe seemed to be represented!
All in all in was a great trip. I got to see family and to enjoy
some of California and Nevada's natural beauty.

Crowds throng the aisles at
AES New York!
With over 20,000 people visiting 452 exhibitors there was
never a dull moment on the floor or in the numerous technical
sessions.
The 119th AES
Convention will launch an industry-wide charity effort to
collect funds for audio professionals whose lives and
businesses have been devastated by the recent hurricane
disasters along the Gulf Coast.
